Introduction to Comparative Politics

Semester:
Summer
Offered:
2016

This course is an introduction to comparative politics, with a specific focus on the interactions between political behavior and economic dynamics. Our goal is to identify how global economic processes shape different patterns of political behavior in different countries, and how domestic politics in turn reshapes the global economy. To this end, the course addresses key themes such as inequality, democratization, social policy, commerce, and war.
