Wharton Research Scholars application due April 30th

Rising Wharton Seniors and Juniors: Wharton Research Scholars (WRS) is a for-credit program that provides opportunities for undergraduates to intensively pursue research under the guidance of Wharton faculty members. There are two ways to apply:

  • Applicants select from and rank tentative research projects that have been submitted by faculty members (the list of projects is posted on the WRS web page), or
  • Applicants submit their own research proposal, approved by a faculty member willing to supervise the project.

Students selected for WRS will conduct research and attend faculty presentations during the fall semester and present their proposals in January and their final projects in late March or early April.  The final research papers will be published on the Penn libraries’ ScholarlyCommons.

The list of next year’s faculty projects, additional program details, and the application are posted on the WRS web page on SPIKE. The application deadline is Tuesday, April 30, 2013.
